Chapel

The Chapel of St Mark at the entrance to the campus is a prominent reminder that Ò»±¾µÀis an Anglican school. Yet Ò»±¾µÀ is accepting of all faiths, sharing an understanding of different religions and cultural beliefs through Religious and Values Education classes.

Ò»±¾µÀwas founded by Bishop Matthew Blagden Ò»±¾µÀand continues his Christian values. Our Chaplains advocate, support and develop our Anglican identity within the school community.

All Ò»±¾µÀstudents attend chapel services as part of their regular timetable, doing so in year levels about four times a term. We see Chapel as a community activity first and foremost, and all students are part of the Ò»±¾µÀcommunity.

The Chapel of St Mark is also available to Old Haleians and their children for baptisms, confirmations, weddings and funerals by arrangement with the Chaplain.

The Ò»±¾µÀcommunity is warmly invited to attend our Family Chapel Services twice a term. They generally begin at 6.00pm and those gathered are welcome to join us for a light supper afterwards.

The Chapel of St Mark is a place of unequivocal welcome and belonging. A place where we come to be still, worship and hear a word of affirmation.
